Needs Improvement

This is a really well written app that fits right at the menu bar. It works efficiently.
The problem begins when this app turns out to be a powerhog.
When running on portable Macs, it’s constantly listed in “Apps using significant energy” and when checked in activity monitor, it does use lot of resources and hit’s a terrible hit on the battery life even when it’s idle.
Please look into this. Thank you.
